If you need any equipment other than a helmet, please let me know as soon as possible so we can ensure you are properly prepared.

Team Expectations

Please review the player/parent expectations before the season.

Official Season Start

Uniform distribution: Saturday, 3/28

Please plan for Saturday practices throughout the season. Practices will typically run 8:00–10:00 AM or 10:00 AM–12:00 PM, followed by weight room time, food, and film sessions.

Example: An 8:00 AM practice will conclude around 11:00 AM. Food and film details will be shared closer to the season.

Game Schedule

Please review the schedule carefully. Games are scheduled during Spring Break, consistent with past seasons. There may be opportunities for JV players to move up to varsity during these games. The schedule will be updated in BAND¹ as needed.

We will also have weight room access and optional practices Tuesday through Thursday. Additionally, we are exploring a March Madness watch party with dinner and a team outing to Level 99 in Tysons.

Practice Expectations

• If practice begins at 7:30 PM, players are expected to be on the track by 7:00 PM to ensure we start on time.
• The girls lacrosse team practices before us. Please be respectful by staying off the field, remaining quiet, and avoiding interaction with their players.

Prom

The school has changed the date of Prom, which now conflicts with a scheduled game. Unfortunately, this game cannot be moved. I have already spoken with most seniors and will address this further at Meet the Coach Night.

Meet the Coach Night

3/3/26 at 6:00 PM

All spring sports will meet in the cafeteria for a presentation by Mr. Miller, followed by program-specific meetings in classrooms.

Team Store

The team store will reopen the week of 2/23. Production typically takes 4–5 weeks. When traveling with the team, players are expected to wear team-issued gear. Injured players on the sidelines must also be in team apparel.

JV players are required to have a red tee and a white tee. Our uniforms do not have sleeves, so these shirts are considered part of the uniform and must match per league rules.

Team Outing

The Premier Lacrosse League will once again be hosting the Sixes Championship Series at The St. James, and we’re heading there together as a team. If you missed it last year, it was an incredible experience. Check out highlights from last year’s games here:

🎟️ Game Details

• PLL Semifinal Game: Friday, 3/7 at 6:00 PM
• Location: The St. James (Springfield)
• Tickets: I have secured 50 tickets for our teams.
• Cost: Tickets will be discounted for us. We have secured tickets for $49. We will have this up on school bucks ASAP.
• Transportation: A bus is reserved — no driving required (parking will be at capacity) The WLL game will take place at 2:00 PM, ahead of the PLL semifinal.

• Return: Approximately 8:00 PM
